Turn left onto 72nd Ave NW/Lindstrom Rd and travel .2 miles. Turn left onto 265th St NW and drive .2 miles to Bulldog Self Storage.

Directions from the North (Milltown)

Head south on Pioneer Hwy for 5 miles. Turn left onto 268th St NW and drive .7 miles. Turn right onto 72nd Ave NW/Lindstrom Rd and drive .2 miles. Turn left onto 265th St NW and drive .2 miles to Bulldog Self Storage.

Directions from the South (Warm Beach)

Head north on 11th Ave N/92nd Ave NW/Marine Dr toward Railroad Ave. for 5.6 miles. Turn left onto 267th St NW/88th Ave NW and drive .3 miles. Turn right onto 268th St NW and drive 1 mile, turning right onto 72nd Ave NW/Lindstrom Rd. Travel .2 miles turning left onto 265th St NW and drive .2 miles to Bulldog Self Storage.

Things to do in Stanwood

Bonhoeffer Botanical Gardens

Bonhoeffer Botanical Gardens is a 20-acre garden just east of I-5 in Stanwood. It is the area’s only completely native botanical garden, featuring Western Washington indigenous trees, shrubs, and other plants. The garden is a fantastic educational resource as well as being incredibly beautiful. It has 16 kiosks spread throughout the property that provide not only shelter but a home for butterflies, because the kiosk roofs are covered with vegetation.

Uff Da Shoppe

If you’re of Scandinavian heritage, you simply must visit the Uff Da Shoppe in Stanwood. The store has been open since 1981 and offers Scandinavian gifts, décor, and knickknacks. At Christmas the shoppe is festively decorated and offers holiday decorations for sale. It’s a must stop while in town.

D.O. Pearson House Museum

The D.O. Pearson House Museum is run by the Stanwood Area Historical Society and features a glimpse into what life was like living in the Victorian era. The home was built in 1890 by D.O. Pearson, a pioneer storekeeper and the cities’ first mayor. The museum is normally open Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Special school tours can be arranged that feature historical clothing and children’s activities. Donations are welcome.
