Steps to Renting a Storage Unit at West Coast Self-Storage
1. Visit our Storage Units Page
Here you can see the unit sizes we offer and a description of their amenities and location on the property, whether that’s a ground level unit, upper level unit or a drive-up access unit. You’ll also see the rate and the specials we have for that size.
2. Stop by our Tacoma Storage Facility
Once you’ve decided on which size unit you’ll need, stop into our location and have our store manager show you the available sizes and their location on the grounds or in the building. Then you can select the exact storage unit you want.
3. Complete the Storage Rental Agreement
Our simple storage rental agreement states the monthly rent, along with other details. It’s easy to understand and fill out. We can even do this for you over the phone!
4. Get Access to your Storage Unit & Move In
You’ll get your lock and keys, your keypad access code and a copy of your rental agreement. This can be a completely contract-free process. Now you’re ready to move in! Our Tacoma self storage facility has access hours from 6 am – 10 pm every day of the year. So, feel free to come and go as you please!
About Tacoma

Car lovers must make time to visit the America’s Car Museum. This 165,000 sq. ft. museum has cars from every era.
Then there’s the Museum of Glass, a fantastic museum featuring numerous glass exhibits as well as live glass making demonstrations, classes, and a store.
If you want to get outside a bit, visit Point Defiance Park. Voted #1 Thing to Do in Tacoma by TripAdvisor, Point Defiance Park has something for everyone. This 760-acre park has miles of woodland trails to explore as well as a rose garden, rhododendron garden, a boardwalk, boathouse and more. There’s also the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium to checkout.
