Due to flooding issues at the turn of the last century, the city elevated the downtown streets, thereby creating a network of underground tunnels and storefronts. Port Angeles City Pier
Right in the heart of downtown Port Angeles is the Port Angeles City Pier. Not only does the pier give you scenic vistas, but you can fish and ferry watch, or attend annual events like The Dungeness Crab Festival and Concerts on the Pier.
Juan de Fuca Arts Festival
This four-day annual may event draws over 100 musicians, artists, and performers. There are four indoor stages as well as centrally located beer and wine tent. The street fair offers plenty of food and drink options plus kids activities.
