About Edgewood, WA

Edgewood has a long and interesting history dating back to 1833. Dr. William Tolmie, a Hudson’s Bay Company trader, was the first non-native to pass through the area. As more people came west, families started making the North Valley their home due to its lush, fertile soil. When Washington’s first telegraph line came through the area, it further established Edgewood as a place of settlement. Today, Edgewood is a small but thriving community.
