Indoor and Drive-up Storage Units
West Coast Self-Storage West Seattle was designed with you in mind. If you want to stay out of the elements, our first floor is an enclosed garage where you can choose one of our drive-up accessible units. Sizes range from 10 x 10 to 10 x 25. If you want a smaller unit, our indoor units are heated and range in size from 5 x 5 to 10 x 15 and are accessed by freight elevator. Don’t worry, we have moving dollies available to use free of charge to get your things into or out of your unit! Visit our units table to see our sizes and reserve a unit.
This is Seattle and things can get expensive. But not our storage units! We keep rates at an affordable level and offer weekly specials that allow you to rent a storage unit for a low introductory rate. In addition, we offer month-to-month lease terms that let you to rent for the length of time that works for you with only a 30-day vacate notice required.

We’ve gone the extra mile to ensure that you feel secure and your belongings are protected. Our storage facility is equipped with almost 40 digital video cameras throughout the building and grounds. In addition, we’ve positioned intercom stations by the elevator on each floor. With the push of a button you can speak with our store management team. Lastly, all entry points are accessed by individual pin code that only you have.

Long Access Hours
With our long access hours, we give you the freedom to get to your belongings when you want to. Storage units can be accessed from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, 365 days a year. And our facility office is open from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Saturday and 9:30 am to 5:00 pm Sunday if you need to speak with one of our friendly storage professionals.

Alki Kayak Tours & Activities offers guided kayak tours of Elliott Bay, Alki Lighthouse, Duwamish River, and Blake Island. They also rent kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, and inline skates as well as offering classes.
King County Water Taxi
If you’re looking for a cool and inexpensive sightseeing trip, consider the King County Water Taxi. In addition to seeing Seattle beauty from the water, you can take it from West Seattle to downtown Seattle and back. For only $5.75 per person that’s one heck of a bargain!
Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center
Another reasonably-priced thing to do is visit the Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center. The center offers a detailed history of the indigenous tribes that were the original inhabitants of Seattle. You can also visit the art gallery and see artifact exhibits.
Alki Point Lighthouse
At the very western edge of West Seattle you’ll find the Alki Point Lighthouse. It’s still in operation and is open for tours during the spring and summer. The lighthouse is run and guided by the Coast Guard. Tours are free to the public.
