For years, this facility was known as Armor Storage — a name a lot of Lacey and Hawks Prairie residents still recognize on sight. We’re now West Coast Self-Storage Marvin Road, joining the West Coast Self-Storage family of managed facilities. The address hasn’t changed, the team hasn’t changed, and your unit access hasn’t changed. What’s changed is what’s behind us: the resources, systems, and support of a company that’s been doing this since 2006.

If you’re a current tenant, you don’t need to do anything — your lease, your gate code, and your unit stay exactly as they are through the transition. You’ll just start seeing new signage, a new app experience, and West Coast Self-Storage on your statements going forward.

West Coast Self-Storage was founded in 2006 by four former Shurgard Self Storage executives who believed customers deserved more from a storage company — better service, better-run facilities, and a smoother experience from the first phone call to the last time you close that unit door.
Today, the company operates more than 160 storage facilities across Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Idaho. West Coast Self-Storage is a proud member of the Self Storage Association, along with the state storage associations in each of those states — part of how the company stays connected to the industry and holds every location, including this one, to a consistent standard.

Things to Do Near West Coast Self-Storage Marvin Road

The Lacey Spring Fun Fair runs for two days every May with free activities, arts and crafts, and food vendors. In the summer, the Lacey Parks and Recreation Department puts on Lacey in Tune, a concert series held Wednesdays and Saturdays at Huntamer Park in Woodland Square, featuring local musicians across a mix of genres.
