West Coast Self-Storage DuPont is a brand-new storage facility located in downtown DuPont, Washington. Our address is 1585 McNeil Street. We’re at the corner of Center Drive and McNeil Street. The other end of our building is the new Ace Hardware. Next to us is The Children’s Courtyard of DuPont.

We’ve built our new storage space with you, the storage customer in mind. When you’re looking for a place to store your stuff, you need a few main things. A place that is secure, a place that is affordable, a place that has the size storage unit you need, and a place that will keep your belongings in good condition. West Coast Self-Storage DuPont was purpose built with these aspects in mind.

Our security system features 24-hour video surveillance around the whole property and inside our building. You’ll find our rates will often beat our competitors in the area. Plus, you’re getting a new storage unit that is heated and will keep your belongings in great condition.

On top of that, you’ll find that our customer service can’t be beat. Our goal is to make sure every question you have is answered. And our experienced storage manager can be of great help in assisting you with the size and type of unit you’ll need depending on what you need to store. About DuPont, WA

DuPont, Washington has a long history, dating back to the original inhabitants, the Sequalitchew Nisqually, which existed in this area for over 5,700 years. The first Americans arrived in 1839 with the Nisqually Methodist Mission, but left 3 years later due to illness and hardship. In 1904, the all-black cavalry regiment Buffalo Soldiers came to Camp Nisqually. They, along with National Guard units from Oregon, Washington, and Idaho eventually formed what became Joint Base Lewis McChord.

The growth of DuPont really took off after the E.I. DuPont de Nemours Company built an explosive manufacturing plant. As a result, hundreds of workers and their families moved to the area. In 1951, DuPont incorporated and in 1989 plans were approved for the creation of Weyerhauser’s Northwest Landing, featuring residential, commercial, and industrial development. Today, DuPont is a vibrant community made up of the Historic Village and the modern Northwest Landing.

Things to Do in DuPont, Washington

DuPont Historical Museum

The DuPont Historical Museum is run by the DuPont Historical Society and is great place to learn about the growth of DuPont and its place in the history of Washington. The museum is free and features exhibits displaying Native American and pioneer artifacts and photos.

The Home Course

The Home Course is DuPont’s very own championship-level golf course. Ranked #2 Public Course in Washington by Golfweek when it opened in 2007, the course has hosted numerous local, regional and national golf events. A challenging course, the Home Course plays as long as 7424 yards from the tips.

DuPont Hiking and Biking Trails

The DuPont hiking and biking trails are an extensive network throughout the city and surrounding area. There are paved and unpaved trails to choose from as well as several miles of designated bike lanes. Trails weave their way through the city’s parks and natural areas such as through DuPont Powderworks Park and Edmond Marsh.
