Thank you both so much for your help and care!I will admit that West Coast is a little on the spendy side, but they're worth very cent. In the end, Randi and Fenix helped me on-onsite, and they couldn't have been nicer.Updating this for 2025: We still give them a 5 star review, even more so now after working w/ Rena, who helped us to move into a larger unit. She couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating with helping us out. :)Prior Review: Excellent and clean with friendly staff. We've been there for 2+yrs now. The storage unit was exactly what we were looking for. Felix was very helpful and friendly. She was on crutches but showed our storage unit that was the 3rd floor. She was thoroughly going over the contract and payment options. The unit was clean and the premises. I would highly recommend West Coast Self-Storage - Lake Oswego. The other staff that was there were friendly.

I don't visit my storage unit very often. But when I need to deal with the office staff, whether on the phone or in person, it is always a great experience. Perfect storage for antiques and art. Heat, AC always running, great air circulation, very safe, secure and well lit.Everything that went into storage came out in the same condition even the 1700’s tin types and other historical items.Gets expensive with the big yearly rate increases but if you only need a year or three it’s fine.

My rating has gone down. A recent price increase makes this the most expensive in the area. Yes it's clean and relatively new, but it's only a storage facility. In my opinion the prices are 30% too high. Front desk help has very high turnover so getting effective assistance is difficult.

From all the experiences I’ve had with storage unit places I can wholeheartedly say that West Coast at LO is far and away the best place to store your things. Melinda seriously deserves a raise. She provides amazing customer service and helped me out when I was downsizing from my original storage unit. (She even helped me before the office was even open— it was about 20 min before opening & she kindly offered to help me.) I was not very happy with my experience. The rates kept spiking and I felt we were a bit bait and switched from the online prices. Also, the manager reserved a key to keep on file for us, then nobody could find the key he kept when we lost ours. Another employee told me they don't even keep keys, and that manager had quit. Another employee the next day said they do keep keys but there wasn't one on file for us. So what happened to the key we left? Overall, poor organization and continual price raises made for an unpleasant experience. The units themselves were clean and there were always plenty of moving carts available, so at least there's that!

MELISSA ROCKS. Very knowledgeable, personable and polite. Made sure I understood all the policies before I left and answered all my questions. Will definitely recommend her to friends looking for storage. Her being spunky is a bonus.

I was surprised by how impressed I was. Friendly, professional staff, clean, new, secure facility. Pricing was just slightly more than nearby facilities that were not nearly as impressive.

Maybe I would recommend it.
The sizing of the unit I requested isn't 5x5 like I was expecting. It's more like 4.5 x 4.5, which caused a problem because I specifically asked if a queen size bed would fit and I was told yes. I measured my mattress ahead of time, too. If the unit is one or two inches short of 5x5 Sq feet, that is fine. But a half of a foot is significant.

Move initial move in rate was 60$ , after a few months they raised my rate to 99$ . And just this month they increased the rate of a 5x10 unit to 124$ per month. Not cool guys... So I moved out and found a 7.5 x10 unit at Baseline self storage for 84$ per month . Hello sounds like price gouging to me .....
