Clean and safe.

I just started renting and right away, the staff was friendly and courteous. The storage place is clean and easy to find. Also security is great there.

I think this is the go to spot for self storage, definitely a lot cleaner than the other 2 places in the Daly city area, the front desk person name Andrew was very helpful & showed me the procedure for going in & out of the building & the paperwork was pretty easy, overall this place is what I'm using for my storage needs....

Andrew was beyond accommodating and helpful when my husband and I came in to rent a storage unit on Christmas Eve. We so appreciated his hospitality and willingness to stay a little past their hours. We’re excited to our home construction to start so we can move stuff in!

I was very happy with the storage site but also with Andrew. He was very helpful and thanks to his great customer service he is the reason I decided to chose westcoast for my storage needs!!

Andrew was super friendly, helpful, and energetic, including bringing us dollies to move our stuff, and we had an easy and smooth experience!

Andrew deserves a raise for his excellent customer service. Our door was stuck and he came back 3 different times with different sets of tools until we got the door open. He’s always very friendly and makes the entire experience seem less. Other places like U-Haul in San Francisco don’t compare to the customer service seen here.

Ryan is such a rockstar! He just helped me secure a really great unit at a great deal. He explained every detail before signing up and even gave me a tour to see the units with the different deals on them. The facility itself is very clean, safe and well maintained and not to mention with great staff. Thank you Ryan!!

Melissa took time to show us several storage rooms and explain everything. No high pressure sales tactics, we had time to mull over our options and get questions answered. Leasing was easily handled over the phone without making a second visit. Security looks good. Looking forward to moving to this facility soon.

This is a great storage place! I've had a unit here for about a year. Everything is indoors and climate controlled and very clean and secure. Recently I needed a different size unit, and the manager, Melissa, was very helpful in getting that set up. If you need storage, this is the place!

Been storing at this facility for about 3 and a half years. Seen around a handful of property managers come and go. Melissa Card has been one of the best. She is very personable and friendly. Always is keeping up the property cleaning and sweeping. Is always around when you need something. Like it here over other places because of her.

Been there almost three years, perhaps it's time to move my stuff elsewhereFelt really bait and switched in the beginning, had to go through three units until they found one close to the size they were claiming it was. Some were even less than 75% of the advertised space.5-10% smaller because of building shape is one thing, but a lot of the units they wanted to rent me were grossly undersized.They have raised the rates quite a bit two times since I've been renting thereRight now I'm paying $352 for 50 sq ftThat's literally 2x as much per sq ft as my apartment in San FranciscoThis is insane now that I really think about it!

We are moving and we’re looking for a storage unit 10x 20 ..Melissa card was so helpful and straightforward she met all our needs ,the same day we came back and she made sure we have everything in order .It’s a nice and secured place. I would recommend West Coast self storage to anybody.!🤙🏽

I just moved to the area and I was looking for a new storage unit to get rid of the unit I have back home. I don’t know the area so I stopped by a few other storage places around and was unsure of which I should trust. I feel very fortunate to have found West Coast Self-Storage. Climate control is important to me as the Bay Area can be humid and I’d hate to worry about mold. Management was very friendly and helpful. I was helped right away and able to get a unit same day. This was such a relief as my living room has been my storage area for the last few weeks. I started moving what I could right away. Assuming all goes well in the coming months I see no reason to look for another storage company while I am living here. Thank you so much Mellisa! (I believe that was who helped me)

I’m a senior. Was 65 back in March 2020 when I rented a 10x10 unit at $144 mo 3mo 1/2 price….i was redoing my condo for sale . A day into the renovations covid happened. Because of my age and not wanting covid ( still never got ) my things in storage instead of 3mos turned into 4yrs.The facilities are great, I chose West Coast Daly City because it was new, climate controlled, and great security.Unfortunately because of rent increase they are getting a 3star instead of 5. I am now at $520 mo rent… luckily my condo sold and I bought a house in Nevada. I have been living in Nevada for a while. I just didn’t want to move my things from one storage unit to another even though I could’ve got a 10 x 10 for $105 where I’m living instead of 520!!

Each staff personnel I have worked with while renting here have been phenomenal over the years. Questions, no problem. Downsizing unit, no problem. The facility is clean and storage access hours are great.

Paul was very helpful, and informative, and he walked us through the facility , which was clean and well lighted. The units are temperatured controlled which is a plus. They had all the safety standards inside and out of the storage unit ie, sprinklers inside the unit, lights, fire extinguishers 🧯 in the side of the hallways and restrooms were available on the first floor. Paul and Nina were amazing! We hit a few hiccups the morning of pick up (system based) and the two of them did literally everything possible to get me on the road as soon as possible! I would return to this location in a heartbeat!

Facilities are clean and climate controlled. Prices are good for the area. The customer service is outstanding. Paul in particular is one of the most attentive, kind, and customer oriented people I have ever worked with.

They just raised rent 40% and I hadn’t even been here for 4 months. Only 1 month notice and no locked in rate. I give it 2 stars because the facility seems safe and it is clean. Indoor units with easy elevator acces. EDIT: I spoke with management, and they were able to assist me and understood my concern. They were helpful and respectful. They made a small adjustment, but I appreciate the effort they put in to do so. Changing my rating from2 two stars to 3stars

Manager was really nice and helpful, even let us borrow a lock and hand truck for free. Highly recommended. Don’t count on u-haul’s self check-out tool to work though.

Truly A+. Both the manager (unfortunately I forgot the young man's name) and Carmen were amazing and I felt that they truly had my best interest in mind. Plus, I greatly appreciate you have two Uhaul vehicles on site. So much more easier to rent directly from you versus having to go to yet another site. The facility is clean, well lit (when the lights stay on, lol!), and seems safe and secure. I feel this was a lucky find, discovering your business. Thank you.

Update: Moved in less than 48 hrs and was accused of cutting a lock to wall plug covers. Informing me of the policy would have been enough, I didn’t argue, but really check your maintenance logs before you accuse customers especially new ones of such things. Multiple covers were unlocked on my floor and others. It was a very poor way to treat anyone.Googled, reserved and rented a unit here today. Very happy all around with the whole experience, including the unit I ended up choosing, physical building, overall layout and especially the staff. Ryan helped me out well past closing, followed up my online reservation and was prepped with a few different unit sizes and layouts to show me. I’m almost excited to do the actual work of moving my stuff into the unit.I’d like to highlight two things, 1. I run late on an almost genetic level (I feel very guilty, I can’t help it, I am working on it) and Ryan was super flexible and understanding, stayed late to get me set up, and did not cut short the “open house” part of seeing the different unit sizes and layouts (making me feel very confident as a client and with my decision). 2. I really appreciated the “salesperson-ship.” I felt I was upsold and down-sold, maybe “right-sold” (like right-sized) and not in a devious cialdini-influence way. A balanced blend of lower cost and larger space options with smart advice throughout, “Could you realistically downsize? Are there things you know you want to donate?” Strategies on how to best take advantage of the fall promo, and that kind of thing.Facilities look great (built in 2019) and secure (intact door frames and solid working security doors). Visitor parking is a little strange—just park on the street and walk uphill (the spaces are for the senior home). And google maps doesn’t have it quite figured out—the turn is before the senior home (right side if facing the hill). But with those small things out of the way and not an issue once you have a unit, I am stoked on the covered loading, climate control, more than 1 loading cart, working elevators, units without holes in the walls, doors that fully close, and kind helpful staff among other things that haven’t been my experience at other extra options nearby.

Just the space I need while moving apartments My 5 x 5 unit is located not too far from the elevator and was spacious enough for all my small belongings from my bedroom. The customer service has been consistently informative and accommodating while I prepared to move in.

We have just rented a unit at west coast storage and the experience we had with the new manager Ryan and associates has been very pleasant! They went above and beyond to help us secure the right unit for our needs, even making sure it was freshly swept and mopped before we moved in! We’re stoked on our new unit in this newer, clean and secure facility! And very happy that they have a nice clean bathroom accessible even when the office is closed!
