Erin was extremely helpful! I was looking to add a second unit and she took the time to confirm a unit was available, inspect it with me, and get everything taken care of. She did so without rushing, even though it was New Year’s Eve and I’m sure she was looking forward to getting home to celebrate. Top notch service!

Erin and Eddie were very pleasant and professional in welcoming me to West Coast Self-Storage.

The staff person Eddie was excellent and offered great customer service. He answered all questions, suggested visiting the location, which we did and completed all the paperwork smoothly. I was left with a sense of safety and security.

Very clean storage place that jacks up the rental rates the longer you are a customer. Went from $339 to $409 a couple of months ago with no warning and no apparent reason other than greed. Looking for a new place with more reasonable rates.UPDATE:When the manager Erin saw my review, she called me and talked to me about the rate. She said she was going to check with higher level management, and she did! She called me back three days later and said the new rent was $379, only $40 more instead of that huge jump. I was so grateful.UPDATE UPDATEUnfortunately, my housemate who shared the unit with me, moved out suddenly and we had to deal with the storage unit end-of-tenancy. Erin was great, as it was a hectic time and there was little cooperation from my housemate. Erin is always so pleasant and professional about everything.

I have been a customer of West Coast Self-Storage Carlsbad for over 4 years now. I have rented 5 units of various sizes for different purposes. The management team there has always been very professional. The storage units and the entire building is always extremely clean. The building has top notch security. As a very happy customer I have recommended West Coast Self-Storage to several friends and also recommended them on social media. I am glad that they are located in an area that is so central to Carlsbad & Oceanside.

I just want to say Erin and Brock We're so understanding when I was in a high anxiety state based on issues with moving. We talked about the miscommunication from me to Brock on Sunday. All was resolved and I want to thank them for their kindness and assistance. Plus the movers They recommended or perfect took excellent care of my belongings and stored them in a 10 x 20 that allowed me access. Thank you So much By the way the Movers said this was the "most secure storage unit around".

To whom is looking for the best self-storage units, look no further than West Coast Self-Storage!! I recently moved into this facility 4 months ago and so happy I did!! The location is ideal, the place is incredibly clean, exceptional lighting, getting in and out of units is crazy easy, they always have dollys at your convenience. I rented a UHaul van for a quick Tuesday move and the experience was easy, inexpensive, and convenient. The office staff were super friendly- Brock walked me thru the check out process and made it a breeze, Erin was fantastic at drop off. Overall a great experience on move out day!

I've used a few different storage facilities throughout my life, and West Coast Storage has by far been the cleanest and friendliest! The manager Erin was so helpful, it just made my move a breeze! I can relax now after a stressful move knowing my stuff is safe there!

Honestly one of the best service experiences I've had with any company in recent memory. I rented a premium 10x10 unit from out-of-state, and had inventory delivered directly to it (not an on-menu service).There were a bunch of moving pieces involved, and Erin & Brock went out of their way to support me in coordinating with myself, the freight company, and my hired help on the ground. Their communication, patience, and support were first class all the way through. I felt cared for like family (even better, at times!).I'm incredibly grateful. Thank you, Erin & Brock!!

Looked up Storage(MS-Edge) and this was the closest place to me. Turns out they had a 2 month 1/2 price sale. When Nick was processing my purchase I asked if I could get 1/2 off the prorated price for the rest of August as well as 1/2 off for September and October He said "Yes I can do that." So, I got 1/2 off for 2 2/3 months (ie almost 3 months). Further Review>> Climate Controlled: Opinion=Icy, 2 elevators = fast, Totally Clean, Motion Detectors turn on pretty bright lights upon approach.

Guys at West Coast storage helped me out a bunch! I been having serious health issues and had to down size, the manager at WC storage helped me find another storage space on short notice and it literally helped to ease the anxiety I’ve had to deal with over the last year not being able to work!Being a single Dad with two kids is not easy!So great that some people and companies have empathy in today’s I / ME generation! Caroline is AMAZING!! I showed up Sunday morning to pick up my U-Haul before the movers arrived to find out my truck was not reserved. She tried to find the size I needed at locations nearby for me to no avail. She had a smaller size available and had me out the door with it in record time. She saved the day for me with excellent customer service and kindness. I will definitely return in the future!!

Absolutely smooth and pleasant experience! I did everything online and just showed up! I checked in at the office because I needed to buy a lock. Valentino was amazingly helpful. He showed me where the unit was in the building, how everything works with the codes and elevators, and even showed me how to install the lock on my unit. He was amazing. Very patient and kind. The facility is clean and temperature controlled. I would absolutely recommend Valentino and West Coast self storage to anyone needing a rental unit.

Just got a 10x20 unit today. The manager I've been looking all over north county area for a reasonably priced unit, however, after reading reviews I've decided it's worth the effort to pay a couple hundred extra for a place with better security and safety. I haven't heard of break INS or thefts here. I read a lot of reviews locally and all the oside vista and San Marcos Escondido areas basically where the cheapest deals are for larger units and drive up had all poor reviews. I felt so sad for all those people who had to file police reports and had so much stolen. It's of course not a guarantee, but, its worth having to cart in my stuff instead of driving up if it's safer. I obviously won't put valuables in the unit, but even if someone else has to I believe your safe here.On a high note, the manager was gracious enough to walk me to several units showing me locations and sizes and I'm very grateful. Especially because it was hot.So far everything's been smooth,the sign up process took 10 minutes no security deposits and I did autopay so it's simple!I will update the review in 2 months. I hope they don't decide to randomly hike the price up. Fingers crossed, And good luck on your storage hunt!I'm so relieved I just nailed it !
